THE FALL RIVER SPORTS NETWORK
The Fall River Sports Network (FRSN) goal is to educate and empower youth, by collaborating with various community-based organizations, coaches and parents to offer lifelong benefits of sports. After a successful launch in 2021, the Fall River Basketball Association has emerged to become the Fall River Sports Network.
Bobby Bailey is an active community member and youth advocate, with more than 10 years of experience as a coach, mentor and youth outreach worker in the city of Fall River where he was raised. His experience working in Professional, collegiate and high school sports combined with event coordinating skills provides him with the ability to bring a thorough interactive sports program. As a former student athlete and Bobby brings the perfect combination of leadership to the FRSN team.
Mike Correia was born and raised in Fall River & has always had a passion for giving back to the youth community. Having been a 3 sport captain at Durfee, & moving on to play College Football, he understands the beauty of the process and what it takes to be a leader. His ability to connect with people, combined with the business mindset he developed at Bentley University brings a combination of passion & commitment to the team. Our goal is to help the next Fall River kid chase their dreams, and create access to the tools they need to do so.
Emily Holmes is a Fall River native with over 10 years’ experience working with one of the largest non-profit organizations in the city. Her expertise includes community networking, youth program development & administration, and event planning. Emily possesses a passion for building the community through creating and increasing accessibility to resources and programs. She understands the significance that athletics have on the mental, physical, and emotional development of young people, and is dedicated to removing any barriers preventing Fall River’s youth from the opportunity to access such vital programming.
